Pamela Godfrey started Herbalistics in 2016 with the mission of using herbal energetics to help support the whole individual and their ability to thrive. She completed a Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Herbal Studies and a Master of Arts in Health and Wellness Coaching at the Maryland University of Integrative Health (MUIH). During her studies, she completed an internship in the MUIH Herbal Dispensary, and is now employed there as the Western Herbal Dispensary Manager. Committed to strengthening her training, she is currently pursuing a master of science in Clinical Therapeutic Herbalism at MUIH.

Pam’s inspiration comes from the healing properties in plants. She embraces a philosophy that integrates modern scientific knowledge of plant medicine with traditional wisdom passed down through generations of herbalists. All Herbalistics products are formulated in her home workspace in Crownsville, Maryland. You won’t find any synthetic, GMO, or chemical ingredients in Pam’s formulas. They are 100% chemical-free and supported by clinical evidence. She infuses 95% of the oils in her products and include organic ingredients. Each formula has gone through a six-to twelve-month process of research, trial formulation, testing, reworking, and refining. It is a process filled with love and passion.

Her short-term goals include finishing her master’s degree while launching Herbalistics products on this website platform. Serving her community is also a goal. As a musician and classical flutist, she is committed to providing products that can support health in performers, singers and speakers. She is actively working on new formulas for products that can address some of the requests and concerns she receives from the creative community.

Long-term, she would like to set up a clinical practice in the Annapolis community and partner with other practitioners and herbalists. A primary need for herbalists in this area is finding a dispensary that can compound formulas for clients. Opening such a dispensary is another long-term goal for her.

Here is what Pam has to say about her passion for herbal medicine: “The time I have spent on herbal medicine has been very meaningful to me as it encompasses all of my passions: healing, creativity, quality, honoring nature, and being of service to those in need. My mission is to maintain this course, and help others through their own healing journey using my coaching skills and clinical training as a therapeutic herbalist.”
